קוקשי היא בובת עץ מסורתית העשויה בעבודת יד, במקור מצפון יפן. סגנון "נרוקו" התפתח באזור של מעיינות חמים הנקרא כך במחוז מיאגי.
לבובת קוקשי בסגנון "נרוקו" יש מאפיינים יחודיים רק לה: השיער המצויר על ראשה, והצליל הנוצר בעת סיבובו.

Naruko Kokeshi Naruko 30cm
Kokeshi is Japanese doll, originally from northern Japan. They are handmade from wood.
The Naruko style of Kokeshi developed at Naruko hot springs, Miyagi Prefecture. One of the characteristics of Naruko Kokeshi is the painted hair on her head. Another one is the cracking sound while turning her head.

Kakizawa kokeshi studio produces many kind of Kokeshi not only traditional figure. Charm of Kakizawa Kokeshi is that Kokeshi doll has peaceful and cute face, wearing beautiful chrysanthemum dress and even wearing hat.
